Amana Convention Centre is located 8 km from the world’s whale-watching capital, Hermanus. This unique youth camp facility on the Whale Coast is situated next to the Vermont estuary, below the Onrus mountain range and within walking distance of the ocean.

A mere hour’s drive from Cape Town, this camp site is accessible and perfectly equipped to cater for a wide variety of group needs. The centre has three separate accommodation units on green lawns and wide-open spaces. It features a total of 40 simple yet adequate rooms and communal ablution facilities, at eminently affordable prices. With a sleeping capacity of 100 people, it is the perfect venue for school camps and church groups. Included in the accommodation fee is the use of our big hall, with seating capacity for 120 people, as well as a free-standing dining room. Another three self-catering units, accommodating two to three people each, are available for individual use.
